From Passion to Purpose:
The Journey Behind Maya Growing Mediums
Seven years ago, I started my first business, JustPlants, with a simple yet heartfelt mission: to bring the beauty of plants into people’s homes. What began as selling plants out of my small apartment and at local markets evolved into something far more significant than I could have imagined.

What type of potting mix do I need?The choice of potting mix depends on the type of plant. Here are some popular options based on different plant categories: 1. General Mix: This is suitable for a variety of houseplants, including Ficus varieties, Ferns, Peperomias, Bromeliads, Spider Plants, Calatheas, Ctenanthe, Cilea, Tradescantia, Aglaonema, Peace Lilies, and the Cast Iron Plant, among others. 2. Cactus Mix: This mix is tailored for succulent plants and includes varieties such as the ZZ plant, Snake Plants, Euphorbia, Yucca, various Cacti, and Haworthia. 3. Aroid Mix: This is ideal for aroids and includes Pothos varieties, Monstera Deliciosa, Monstera Adansonii, other Monstera varieties, Philodendron varieties, Rhaphidophora, and most climbing plants. Choose the right mix for your plants to help them thrive!
